In case you haven’t heard, we are hosting our very first benefit show for camp! It will take place in the East Gallery of CoRK Arts District on Sunday, March 11th from 5 to 9 pm. There’s a suggested donation of $10 at the door. We hope that you know how much you’ll be getting from this great event and that all of the donations are going to Girls Rock Camp Jacksonville. We have many funds to raise like, 1. partial and full scholarships for those campers with financial need2. craft and art supplies for DIY merch-making (t-shirts, prints, buttons)3. food and coffee for volunteers4. promotional material5. programs for the showcase at the Florida Theatre and other booklets6. admission for a few of our committee heads to go to the Girls Rock Camp Conference in Durham, NC (where we’ll receive necessary knowledge to run a successful camp!) And so much more! So come out and see some awesome bands, a sneak peak of the Girls Rock Documentary, and have a great time. Hope to see you there!
